When Darryl Reginelli and Bruce Erhardt opened the first Reginelli’s Pizzeria, their goal was to offer great food in a neighborhood they loved. By focusing on the relationships they developed with their customers, their employees and the community at large, Darryl and Bruce were able to create a restaurant that prides itself on serving delicious food and has a culture that values honesty, hard work, and the community we serve.
Our customers know that we will always keep high standards for food and service. Just because the restaurant is casual, doesn’t mean we take what we do casually. Our employees know that they will be dealt with honestly and openly. Because the community has given us so much, we are committed to giving back as much as we can.
Staying true to what we care about has sustained Reginelli’s through change. Reginelli’s Pizzeria has grown from that first location – adding new stores and expanding the culture Darryl and Bruce established. Through the difficult times after Hurricane Katrina, it was that culture that sustained us. The relationships we had built kept us committed to coming back and allowed us to, not only reach the levels we had been at before the storm, but exceed them. In 2007, Reginelli’s Pizzeria was named the Independent Pizzeria of the Year by Pizza Today Magazine – recognition that validated what we do and the way we do it.
Today, Reginelli’s is proud to serve not only New Orleans, but the Houston and Baton Rouge areas as well. As we continue to grow, we will maintain the core focus on the relationships that got us where we are today.
